Today many Cameroonians are shocked to hear about the sudden death of Cameroonian artist Gee Reign today in Bamenda just 10 days shy of his birthday (which is on April 26). We at THJ first saw the announcement on music producer PhillbillBeatz Facebook wall. Not long after that many industry people like Salatiel posted their shock on their walls and more.

Gee Reign was a producer, rapper who seemed to have a bright future ahead. We are not exactly sure about the details of his death but according to sources, he died while at a studio in Bamenda most likely doing what he loved the most (music). Gee Reign featured in several songs like US based Ale Myz’s song called Fallen. You can listen to more of his music on his Reverbnation page.
While the shock of his death sinks in, family, friends, fans and well known Cameroonian artists and music producers have been posting their condolences on their respective Facebook walls as well as on his Facebook wall.
