We’re starting the week off with some cool music vibes by Riki Maria, a Cameroonian-based artist who recently released a song composed, written and produced by Edi LeDrae called “Julie“. The song was mix and mastered by the D MIX team and has sets the mood of for our busy week.

We don’t know much about Riki but what we do know is this song Julie is a fresh but similar sound that seems quite popular among Afro-pop female singers. Plus it kinda reminds us a bit of DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thought’s” remix featuring Rihanna where RiRi sings “Wild, Wild, Wild” but in Julie, Riki says “Bye, Bye, Bye” Did you notice the use of the word Snapchat like in Blanche Bailey’s BonBon song? So as you can see a lot of artists are now naming social media platforms into their music which is pretty much reflective of today’s constant use of social media.
