Boy Tag is getting ready to release his new song “Cent Pour Cent,” and instead of waiting until the official release to start promoting it, the Cameroonian rapper is taking the music directly to DJs. The upcoming track was produced by CFX and is one of several songs the two have been working on together. “Cent Pour Cent,” which translates to “100%,” will be the first of those songs to be released.
The song celebrates DJs and the important role they play in keeping a party going while also helping artists get their music heard. Ahead of the official release, Boy Tag has been visiting DJs as part of a one-week promotional campaign, giving them an early listen to the song and spending time with some of the people who help bring music to clubs and audiences.
The campaign also comes with its own T-shirts carrying the message “Respectez Le DJ À 100%,” or “Respect the DJ 100%.” Boy Tag has been handing them out to DJs as another way of recognizing their contribution to the music industry.

Among the DJs already playing the song is Douala-based DJ Krys, giving “Cent Pour Cent” some early exposure in clubs before the track becomes available to the general public. From what has been heard so far, “Cent Pour Cent” is clearly made for the party scene.
With a song celebrating DJs and a promotional campaign built around the people behind the turntables, Boy Tag is making sure the DJs are part of the release from the very beginning. The official release is still to come, along with more activities surrounding the upcoming music video.
