It’s been a crazy week for the US Hip-Hop community with the death of Nipsey Hussle and the arrest of his alleged killed Eric Holder. Eric was a supposed friend of Nipsey and an alleged part of his entourage. We posted on our Instagram page that Nipsey Hussle’s memorial service is planned for Thursday in downtown LA at the Staples Center and it will be a star-studded memorial with many live performances.

In light of his death, many who might not have known too much of the rapper turned entrepreneur, so we  to post these pics to remind you that these two were like the upcoming Jay-Z and Beyoncé. The hip-hop power couple.

– Nipsey’s paternal side is East African from #Eritrea.
– His real name is Ermias Asghedom.
– Ermias is an #Ethiopian name meaning “Sent by God” or “God Will Rise”.
– In 2004, Nipsey & his brother went to #Africa for the first time in his life with his father. He stayed there for 3 months and learnt a lot about the culture.
