AFRO-CENTRIC POP SINGER WAZIH’S STRONG MESSAGE IN HIS SONG “WE BE ONE’ [VIDEO INCLUDED]
Afro-centric pop-star with the “voice” Wazih is back with another meaningful song and video – We Be One that talks about issues and the human race. In the face of pressing global issues like Xenophobia, Racism, Gender inequalities, We Be One is focused on promoting one love for every person irrespective of who they are or where they are from. The song is a feature of Jazz and Afro instruments, putting you on your feet, as you dance for peace.
As seen on his YouTube page, We Be One is a statement in the pidgin language which signifies We Are One, we are one race and one people, the Human race. It’s a cry for #Peace.
This song comes in a period where the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon have been in a civil unrest for over three years, with several thousands of lives lost and thousand others displaced from their homes both internally and internationally.
A call for peace and productively inclusive dialogue has never been more eminent. Let’s rise as a nation, a continent and the human race as a whole to bring peace and absence of war to each home and human.
