It’s yet another episode of Gospel Ministers Across Africa. This time we bring you three powerful women who have changed the whole narrative about gospel music.
1. Mercy Chinwo
Mercy Chinwo is a 29-year-old gospel musician and actress from Port Harcourt Nigeria who won season 2 of the Nigerian Idol Award in 2012. Since then, she has become nothing but a voice and a success story in Nigeria and Africa at large. The video for her song Excess Love currently has 40 million YouTube views.

2. Ada Ehi:
The 36-year-old Nigerian international gospel song writer, performer and recording artist, who is based in South Africa has done nothing but harness gospel music with new creation melody and rhythms. Ada has set the records straight with her abilities to evangelize and transform through her testimonial lyrics and life changing stories.

3. Sinach:
Osinachi Joseph, known by her stage name as Sinach, is a 46-year-old Nigerian and Love World worship leader. The “I know who I am” crooner who announced herself in 2013, has made herself a legend and a reference in gospel music and worship. She’s another success story and deserves a hall of fame place in gospel music. She went ahead to win the Groove World West African Artist of The Year.

Married in 2014 to Joe Egbu, Sinach recently had a child at 46, which is often very difficult to do so at that age.Miracle’s like this is what makes her God a “miracle worker”. She lives in South Africa. Sinach’s song, Way Maker, currently has 141 million YouTube views.
