Just like a jackpot, a wise man is supposed to run far away after hitting, but the confidence that one has, thinking he has mastered the whole thing might just send him south. Lyrical Joe’s situation might just be as such.
He made his mark in 2019 when he took everyone unawares with his smartness. Coming back in 2020 was like a trap for him, because this time he wasn’t facing just one person, his confidence led him to the wrong direction thinking he could battle everyone.
Going toe to toe with Kao denero and JOVI, rubbishing every other attempt could have been his biggest mistake. He stole the show and it was enough to run away with the trophy but Jovi who never accepts defeat, knew just how to get him back ranting. Jovi understands that he’s got a big mouth so he shakes the table and moves away to important issues. His artist is dropping an album soon so, his attention was no longer with Joe.
But an attentive and insulted Swagg King aka King B had take over plans though, so no problem at all!
Remember this deadly intro? You could already tell what was up.
This is not a Ghana vs a Cameroon situation, nor a lyrical whoever situation, this is King B vs Joseph” – King B said.
He has snatched the opportunity to announce himself and what he’s capable of. His diss track – 1 Stone and exactly just “1 stone” thrown at Lyrical Joe has gotten everyone talking about him. It’s not like he’s the first to come after Lyrical Joe. Others like Ko-C, Wan Shey, Poker Ship, Savji Damji and a host of others have come for him but the attention King B has had, has been mouth watering and boy, he went in for the kill.
He is direct, precise and means his every worth. This isn’t any fowl play. He handled the case like an attorney in a supreme court and many have just approved and applauded his excellence.
Even an unpredictable Jovi seemed impressed by his compatriot’s competence. This makes everyone believe that King B is the Ghanaian rapper – Lyrical Joe’s solution.
The Ghanaian rapper has however been blocking bloggers on social media and people he had been dissing and one could conclude that a young ambitious man who had the spirit of a Spartan might just have been battered to the core. How else can we explain his blocking of bloggers and anyone who came for him that he has dissed in anyone of his songs?
Telling a self-acclaimed lyricist to take the “Joseph” and give him the “Lyrical” is not cool. It’s like calling the Ghanaian rapper – “Joseph” and the Cameroonian rapper – “Lyrical” King B.
While we await a possible response from the streets, it is good to know how ruthless King B can be through his track 1 Stone.
