We are not in any way comparing, but we are just putting pen to paper to figure out some similarities between two amazing praise warriors Akubai and Lara George.
We present to you Cameroon’s gospel icon and Niki Heat Entertainment gospel asset – Akubai, who is coming through with hope for African gospel music. She is following closely, the footsteps of African praise heavyweight minister and U.S – based Nigerian Lara George.
We are featuring Lara on Gospel Ministers Across Africa for the second time. This is because she cannot be ignored. Niki Entertainment (a record label), unveiled a press release as few days ago, announcing that their gospel sensation, Akubai would be releasing a new video titled “Yaweh”. The audio of this beautiful piece is already available on all major download platforms. Upon listening to this song, the only thing that came to mind was Lara George’s “Dansaki” (I’m Acknowledging You) released in 2013, which was a big hit in the African gospel sphere and beyond.
