I made a quick stop at the Biggy Studios Mansion (where the Biggy Studios reality show is filmed), last night with CEO of Champion Sound, and singer Gomez as the organizers requested us to judge the “Carry Go” task fashioned by Cameroonian singer Schengen Owner featuring Zlatan .
In a bid to promote their song, they decided to sponsor a task in the mansion with winner walking home with a sum of 200,000 CFA.
The task was carried out by three different groups : team white, yellow, and pink. These groups were rated based on energy, performance and lyrical connaissance. At the first attempt, group white headlined by singer Fhish, Cynthianne, Magdo and Dieudonné was eliminated.
The finals would then be between team yellow made up of Afa, Clement, Patience & Queen mother, and team pink, made up of fashion designer Noniwhite, Verna, Bishop and Adag. Team yellow emerged as winners for their dominant performance.
At some point in time, team white’s members were yelling at Fhish for vehemently refusing to be at his best during the game. Even guys from the opposite team were striking at Fhish for ruining the game. Shockingly, housemates who had a contrary view were Patience and Adag who thought Fhish’s team members didn’t understand the latter, and as such, they could not flow at 100%
To those who know who Fhish is as an artist, can agree that he is one of the best stage performers that we have, so what could have been the issue? Brand conflict? I would not say brand conflict because he was wearing the teams t-shirt and he was vibing along. It was clear that there was some distraction, especially from his team.
Contrary to popular opinion about Biggy Studios poor infrastructure, I want to highlight that the home where this show is taking place has been well equipped and furnished is a cool way. It is true that you cannot get it all in one day but the signs that the next show will be great are evident.
This years Biggy Studio reality show tagged The Revolution, has indeed brought a revolution to the reality show industry in Cameroon and we cannot overemphasize the things that follow. Should this show have some renown sponsors, it will take you by storm the many things they can do!
In conclusion, my visit to this Biggy Studios mansion was a beautiful one and the housemates were very welcoming and jovial. They seem to have completely different strategies they are using to win the game, but you can be rest assured that these are beautiful souls.
