After all the speculations and assumptions about what’s up with Cameroonian duo Ridimz , one of the key persons to the evolution of the band Phillbill, one of the most talked about producers in the industry has opened up about the duo’s future plans. Opening up about their upcoming plans simply cements that Ridimz is not going anywhere anytime soon.
While talking with blogger Clarisse Ndinge on her show “Beta Topoh”, the ace producer revealed a lot of deep things, including how he was disowned by his dad, when he went to Nigeria to visit his mom and stayed above the agreed time. He also revealed that he was the last to join Rythmz back in the day when he returned from Nigeria.
According to the producer, they’ve already worked on an album, which features big names like Ghanaian “Mansa crooner” Bisa Kdei , the most decorated African rapper Sarkodie, Togolose duo Toofan and Jonnie Walker Ambassador, Ceo of New Bell Music and MbokoGod Jovi.
According to PhillBill, Jovi’s acceptance to feature in the project means everything to him. In fact, he did reveal that Jovi is the most important amongst the listed names!
The album whose title wasn’t disclosed, was supposed to drop this year, but Phill explained reasons why they had to push it to next year… fans of Ridimz will be excited to hear next year, as that automatically means the band isn’t going nowhere (anywhere) anytime soon.
As explained by him, “It’s a big album and we’re looking the best distributors before we can let it out”
These international collaborations, especially with known hit makers in the continent, is a message that the global market is the target.
