On today’s episode of Gospel Ministers Across Africa, we take a quick look at South Africa’s gospel industry as we focus on the outstanding career of Winnie Mashaba.
Winnie Mashaba is a 43-year-old south African gospel singer, whose career started professionally in the early 2000’s. She released her first album “Exodus” in the year 2000.
Her musical talent was quickly recognized, and she got her first big break when she auditioned for Solly Moholo. Over the years, Winnie has become a household name in South Africa, and her music has touched the hearts of many.
In her music career, she has released more than 19 albums and has won several awards in over two decades, including the South African Traditional Music Awards and an Honorary Doctorate from Trinity International Bible University (TIBU) for her contribution to the music industry. Winnie Mashaba’s success story is an inspiration to many young people in South Africa, and she continues to inspire many through her music, business ventures, and community involvement.
Besides her musical exploits, Dr. Winnie, is also an influential television presenter and a business woman. Our focus however, is in this article is strictly on her distinguished music career which has greatly touched and transformed lives.
