This Nigeria Based Photography Studio Takes Body Art To Another Level!

Body art (aka body painting) in photography is becoming more and more creatively fun than ever, with models having all kinds of art work done on their body or parts of it. We’re loving these photo’s of Model Gina Akala by Image Faculty Studios. The first three photo’s has Gina covered in paint that has splattered all over her. With bursts of color against Ms. Akala’s beautiful dark skin, it gives it that color poppin’ effect.
The makeup and artistry was done by a makeup fine artist who goes by the name of Casskoncept1 on Instagram. Body art makes photography more fun than the common everyday photo session in nice clothes and it can also act as an outlet to send out a message. As more and more African photographers (and make up artists) are appreciating body art/painting, we should expect to see a lot more of this in editorials and more and yes we’ll be looking out for more creative photo’s by Image Faculty, other African photographers and photography studios!
