In Australia, a Zimbabwean man by the name of Godfrey Zaburoni has been detained by immigration as he is facing deportation back to Zimbabwe. Back in 2013, according to the The Australian, The circus acrobat was alleged to have deliberately infected his Australian girlfriend with HIV after fooling the Immigration Department into believing he was disease-free, a court has heard.
“Prosecutor Mark Whitbread told the jury that Mr Zaburoni repeatedly lied to his girlfriend about his HIV status, convincing her to have unprotected sex “many” times. The performer arrived in Australia in the 1990s and was diagnosed with HIV while on tour with his circus troupe in South Australia in 1998. There, a doctor warned him to have protected sex and to inform his sexual partners” according to “The Australian“.
Fast forward to now, it is not exactly clear if he is currently being detained by immigration although he is allegedly facing deportation. If this is true, how evil can a person be? He should be tried for murder and not be sent back to Zimbabwe where he stands a big chance of infecting many others! Afterall if he did it in Australia over and over again then what will stop him in Zimbabwe. What do you think? Should they send him back to his country or not?
