Torch City Music (TCT) express their gratitude in new song, as Mic Monsta invites them in one of his clips off his forthcoming album. Cameroonian genius rapper, Mic Monsta might have found the right partner in Dready Christ but what about Marnick Official ‘s addition, and the spotlighting of the most promising Cameroonian rap crew – Torch City? We used to have X-Maleya trio (not rappers though), but Torch City are likely the only trio left in the industry, or if you know another, let us know!
After the “Back Market Cypher” , Kwata Music, headed by Mic Monsta, have come again to prove the relevance of team work in their new song titled “Days like this”. This song is off Mic’s album which is near completion. He named album “The Stars are watching”. Kking Gunz might have gone missing in this one, but Dijay Karl needs no introduction. He delivers deliciously as usually. There’s no doubt that he (Karl), has been sensational all along and he keeps stepping up the game, and that’s “why days like this is what it is”.
However, no matter how seductive a beat is, if the performer fails to deliver on it accurately, then it might just be a waste of creativity, but then guess what ? Dready Christ, makes the work light for everyone. They say the end of a thing matters most but the end is highly determined by the begining, and you’d bare with us that Dready makes work light for everyone, with his dexterity. His intro cements himself as the Kwata president, deservingly!
What about Marnick? This is one talented vocalist, who just recently dropped an introductory EP certainly, and the only woman in the Kwata crew as it stands, proves vocally, why she was/is the right choice to accompany the crew to greatness. In a song where a perfect hooker was needed, she delivered sumptuously.
Torch City music’s best musical decision is undoubtedly linking up with Mic Monsta and Kwata Music, at least as at now! The trio Made of Hans Waxzey, Uncle Cales and Edico are showing that team work, does the homework swiftly. Though created in 2014, the trio came to the spotlight effectively, sometime last year, thanks to their boss, whom they’ve each hailed in their verses, for standing for them when no one came to their aid.
“They tie me down like shoe lace, Mic held me up like brief case” Hans Waxzey. With everyone delivering blushingly, Waxzey hit the flow resounding and noticeably. He’s pretty good. Everyone else is, but he’s got some guts and the flow undeniably.
Mic’s entry is always bossy, of course, he’s the boss, so he comes in like one, and his Lyrical prowess is still unmatched. Just like everyone on this song, he used his verse to appreciate everyone who has stood for them. There are days you’ll walk home empty-handed , and some other days, you’ll walk home with a bag of manner. There are just days like this when we just want to review good Music.
