Inter Milan forward and Cameroonian taliswoman Nchout Ajara continues to write her name in the record books, as she keeps on impressing on international duty. The Indomitable Lioness winger and vice captain has been in sexy form.
Cameroon suffering an aching defeat against bitter rivals Nigeria last week in the Quarter finals of the ongoing Womens African Cup of Nation (WAFCON), meant that they needed to emphatically erase Botswana from the equation last night to stand a chance to qualify for the 2023 World Cup playoffs which comes up in February of Next Year.
It’s worth highlighting that, it’s been difficult finding the back of the net as the lionesses only found the back of the net four times, since arriving Morocco, with two of those goals, coming from an agile and flexibly- clinical Ajara.
The Indomitable Lioness number three, has been scoring important goals for her fatherland, just like her superb right-foot 45+1 goal scored from outside the box last night, which canceled Botswanans hopes and restored hopes for the lionesses who look forward to the playoffs.
There’s no doubt that there are many talented ladies in the den, like Aboudi Onguene but Ajara has stood out times without number for both club and country.
After winning the best goal of the last women’s world Cup with a sumptuous finish against New Zealand which sent them into the knockout stages, she has been on top of her game since that time especially for Club duties.
She has bagged two woman of the match awards in this year’s competition in Morocco so far, and though this is the end of the road for her at WAFCON, her goal is a potential best goal of the tournament contender.
She continues to leave a blueprint with her towering performances for her country. While we wait for 2023 to know their fate as far as the world cup is concerned, Cameroonians can at least feast on this monumental win as a consolation for their premature exit in Morocco.
